Mihnea Constantinescu

This is the biography video for Dr Mihnea Constantinescu, professor of Capital Markets at Homburg Academy.

Mihnea Constantinescu holds a master in Mechanical Engineering from the University "Politehnica" of Bucharest. His interest in economics and finance came while doing a Master in quantitative finance at the ETH Zürich. He finished his Doctoral Studies at the Swiss Banking Institute of the University of Zürich (UZH).

His main research interests are behavioural finance and real estate economics with a focus on the impact of behavioural biases on pricing and asset allocation. Mihnea Constantinescu's teaching experience includes classes given at the UZH in microeconomics and real estate economics. He also taught behavioural finance in real estate markets in CUREM (Center for Urban Real Estate Management) in Zürich. His professional experience includes among others, a research project for the Swiss Insurance Regulator (SVV). The outcome of this project is a holistic approach on the risk management of property for Swiss institutional investors.
