For me It is just an alternate story ! But they fucked up the real resident evil we grew up with. The movie is more like based on RE.

@wingedsword93 How bout NO! You have your opinions and other peoples have theirs. Any half wit with a good education should be able to write a good Resident Evil story line that can compliment the games storyline without being redundant. The movies are just some hot shot directors attempt to reinvent the wheel. It maybe entertaining to you but it's not Resident Evil.
