yes*indeed, the majority is blinded and disempowered by the political process, which is all the more reason that individual capital rights be taken back from those few who now control how and where public money is used. There is no more unifying debate and action, that could be taken than the individual right to direct the capital of their labor toward creating the world they desire, which at the same time grants true majority rule.

Unfortunately, as such, power can also be implemented to woefully blind the majority. The reason why so many are actively nonpolitical, is because politicians have made it a complex system too hard for the average student to understand (and not only that, with its control, can easily represent that despite its "We're for you" message, it really implies, we represent the majority) And the Majority switches parties from time to time: Democrats now, maybe Republicans later.

Actually, I'm white, I blame government for the inadequacy of its leadership, the lack of decisions on even the most basic issues (economy), and even agreeing on a plan to try and help the nation it was designed (intentionally) to represent. Electoral College? Represents the state majority party (in this case, those with the most money, no wonder why California is in debt huh?). I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but the Government is failing and needs to be refreshed with Americans, not lawyers.

OWS has shown racism, uneducated college students doing EXACTLY what hippie protestors did back in the 1960's: find an excuse to get together and break the law en masse, thus nullifying the strength of the police's ability to make a lawful arrest on a party too huge to contain.
