Not trying to be rude, but does I've watched a few of your vids...does your husband have a persistent cough? It's distracting.

@mompm Thanks for the parchment paper tip. I will definitely be getting some of that real soon. I have yet to make the brownies. I will be making them this week though (we're out of macaroons lol)... I'll let you know how they come out. I'm sure they'll be delicious! :)

@jujutubes I've recently discovered baking all things, even lasangna, with parchment paper , it works very well to prevent stick and makes clean-up much easier. How did Noreen's brownie reciepe do?

My macaroons baking right now- they are a tich runny because of not enough coconut- I was not sure what ounces to mls was and I underguessed. And I would love to know how to make my own vanilla because I go through a lot putting it in coffee. Did I mention your vids are the best to watch- you are easy to listen to- does not sound like a lesson or speech- thanks, merry Christmas

Thanks for this recipe Noreen. I made it last night and they are SO GOOD. I think next time I will double it. They did stick to the pan and I had to use an unused paint scraper to get 'em off LOL. They're really yummy though... thanks again :)
I'm gonna try your cream cheese brownies probably some time next week... those look amazing!

@GettingThereGreen I tried making these today and they totally stuck to the paper on the pan... I can't get them off. :( ~Amanda

@atticus9799 I'm not a big coconut eater myself but others in my family do like it so I think I will try this recipe... but I'll dip them in chocolate as well so I'm more likely to want them myself LOL. Thanks for such an easy recipe. I like recipes with just a few ingredients. ~Amanda
how long will they remain good for after you make them? If I make them today, can I bring them to a party this Thursday? LOL Thanks ~Amanda

@GettingThereGreen YES! I will also suggest that if your coconut is very long, run it through the food processor to make it smaller. Also keeping them in a plastic container will make them stay moist, they will be sticky, but they will be delicious. I put them in cupcake papers after I made them to keep them from sticking together. If you make them smaller, you can use the little candy papers. I hope you enjoy them! Noreen

if I wanted them covered in chocolate, how might I do that? LOL I can't imagine eating plain macaroons with chocolate. will the packed balls be packed tightly enough to then roll them in melted chocolate before putting them in the oven?
Thanks ~Amanda

@GettingThereGreen Bake them first then cool completely then melt some chocolate chips in the microwave and dip the cooled macaroons in the chocolate either the bottom or just drizzle over the top. But it wont work if you try to put the chocolate on prior to baking. Thanks and I hope you enjoy them, they are super easy! Noreen

Is there any reason why you don't use your mixer for to incorporate your ingredients?

@OUARNP Rick asked me the same questions, and I guess I just never thought of it to be honest and hand mixing is always what I have done. I also thought that that the coconut might get too cut up, but then after making this particular batch I thought that this coconut was SO long that it could have been run through the food processor to get smaller. I think the big mixer would be good, but a hand mixer might not work so well.
