God Bless you for posting this song. I had never heard this song until just recently at a funeral , a sad occasion, but these types of songs give you that" feeling"and blessed hope. I have also added this to my list of favorites. As I have said before "Nuthin like the ole timey gospel music, let us that remember and love this music continue singing them". Amen

MISIDENTIFICATION. This is THE KNOWLES-JACKSON SEXTET, a group formed out of Chicago's First Church of Deliverance, recorded in 1957. The first lead, R. L. Knowles, was the closest thing to a gospel matinee idol, a very handsome man with a smooth, Kansas City baritone. The second, Myrtle Jackson, had been famous for her coloratura. With the years her voice grew coarser, but she remained a terrific rhythm singer. During the 1940s, they were big STARS.

Yesterday her mother passed, this is really got me through my day, thank you for the post, i cant wait to share this with my grandmother as well.

Thank you for this one. It's the first time I heard them. Good, Good, Good. Have to add them to my list. Of course there is only one Dorothy Love Coates and Harmonettes. I really appreciate the work you are doing, I thought I was the only old school left. Leave it to the Lord, He always has someone else. Can't think more of ourselves then we aught. Keep up the good work. Sister D
