US Denies Involvement in Iran Terror Attack, which killed 50 terrorists.

The United States denied involvement in a terrorist attack following accusations by Iran.

"We condemn this act of terrorism and mourn the loss of innocent lives," State Department Spokesman Ian Kelly said in a statement, Press TV reported. "Reports of alleged U.S. involvement are completely false."

A suicide bomber attacked an unity meeting between Sunni and Shia tribal leaders on the borderline Province of Sistan-Baluchistan today, Press TV reported.

Iran's Revolutionary Guards vowed to take revenge after blaming Britain and the U.S. for the attack that killed six of its commanders and 37 others, the Guardian reported.

A Jundallah, a Sunni group, claimed responsibility and said it was in response to "the constant crime of the regime in Baluchistan," the Guardian reported. Iranian officials have previously linked Jundallah with al-Qaida, although other sources have suggested the group may have connections with the Pakistani Taliban.

"The regretful terrorist attack in Sistan-Baluchistan was the result of U.S. action," Larijani said on Sunday, Press TV reported.
