  • would not want her to be my lawyer!!

  • No the point is that if both parents work. Right there is a good lesson in respectably and responsibility. Everything that parents do is a lesson in morality.

  • @ramblingbob63 That's kinda the point. Its increasingly common that both parents need to work in order to sustain the home so the only place for kids to get their morals is from state run schools. That's not an accident.

  • They should be teaching reading, writing, mathematics, science, and history. the first three years they should only teach reading, writing, and mathematics. Those are the core subjects, without them nothing is possible. It is not the teacher’s job to teach being kind, thoughtful, curtsies, civilized those morals. That is the job of parents not teachers or the governments. If you don’t have a strong foundations your house will fall.

  • @keymaker2112 I take your point. However, even a private large corporation might be taken over by globalists. I'm sure they are already talking about duping us with one or more. I want each local school district to take back their own schools, with their own local school boards, and parents storming to the school board meetings when things go awry. There's no law that we have to take federal funds. All we have to do is give it up and kick them to hell out of our kids' schools.

  • @rtinsavannah I agree. But not under a public education system. There's too much politics tied up in it then. I'm a proponent of an all privatized educational system as it would allow for a clear analysis of which teachers were capable and which were not. Given the current educational structure Pay/Performance would just destroy good teachers while overpaying the bad ones.

  • @keymaker2112 Stossels documentary shows the falsehood of your theory of lack of teacher responsibility. Pay according to performance works for ANY job!

  • @2bofsoftball Yeh, right. As a teacher do you work 10-24 hours a day, like software engineers do? That's in the summers, too. When I was in the college dorm, all the dumb kids would say, "I don't know. I guess I'll major in el ed. It's easy and you get the summers off." Allowing for few exceptions, most teachers are all right, except for being dumb, lazy and hateful to children.

  • I love the dictionary definition of John Stossel (on the protestor's sign)!!!!!! John Stossel is an IDIOT!!!!!!! Teachers work WAY more hours than the average American even knows. Stossel should become a teacher for a year and see how he likes his pay then! DUMBASS.

  • 58:00 of course a filthy jew wants more money!
