After Effects remove black background from image.

Using After Effects, I will demostrate how to remove a Black Background from an image the right way.
I learned this little trick from Andrew Kramer over at www.videocopilot.net
In his Tutorial #88 when he removes the white background from his image.

i WOULD GIVE IT A TRY. NOW THE CHALLENGE WILL BE IF THE SUBJECT HAVE A REALLY DARK BLACK SHIRT. AND THE BACKDROP IS A FADED BLACK COLOR. AND YOU WANT TO REMOVE THE BACKGROUND. AND REMEMBER, ITS A VIDEO LOL! VFX nightmare.

If the shirt is dark, and the background is dark, then it is going to be hard.

The only thing that I can recommend is to use to color effect to brighten the shirt or the background.
