The mithycal l319 and o319 bus :-) ... large-scale production began in 1956 and did not end until 1968 -- more powerful engines with up to 55 hp (diesel) and 80 hp (gasoline) boosted the L 319's sprightliness.
I am glad that you liked it :-) They are rare to find on the road today.
My favourites are the panel van with the sliding door for entrance, so in the hot days you can drive it with the open door and drinking beer hahaha :-))
@sprinter977 Do you know in England many years ago say 1950's 1960's it was quite common to see many different makes of van on the roads that had sliding front doors for driver and passenger. seems a good idea to me. Yet they disappeared over the years for some reason. In summer time I would ride along with my uncle delivering bread and both front doors wide open, it was great as a child...
I really do like these Mercedes 319 Gabriel. Very Nice
@Bevoin1970 Yes was a good idea this sliding door looks good on the l319. i think it was very confortable for delivery if your job have to do frequently stop.
it is nice your story about your uncle and the bread , was been a great year :-)))

They really are very nice looking vans / trucks / buses quite unique in style I think.
They would stand out quite a lot on the roads today...
