Guys let us put credit where it belongs, the voice belongs to Mpongo ,the song belongs to Mayaula Mayoni,the horns belong to Empopo Loway and co..Mayaula composed,arranged and played guitar here.It is a common and best practice in Congo championed by Simaro,where he composes a song and gives to Madilu,Josky, Malage,Mangwana,Mpoyi,Ndombe etc to sing based on their voices.The brain behind this masterpiece is Mayaula,check his others songs and you will agree with me.He was a genius.

I read somewhere in wikipedia or so that this song condemns polygamy and that was the reason for its popularity in Zaire. Can some one please tell me which words in Lingala condemn polygamy in the song. My father was the son of the 5th wife, I am the sone of a seond wife and my wife's mother was the 3rd wife. The late cardional Otunga was the son of the 8th wife; President Obama is the son of 2nd wife. AND I will love Mpongo Love's song forever plus another day

this is my first time hearing of this song....but man oh man, this is genius, she was a genius, and you claim Rhihana, Beyonce can sing...this is sheer orgasmic. I dont even understand a word, but the arrangements are pure magic...damn, BEST SONG EVER. I CAN LISTEN TO IT OVER AND OVER.
