true...but sometimes in the anime they switch up. very rarely. i thought that too. then in the manga hikaru changed his hair color and stands just about anywhere.

I know how to figure it out! You complement one of them like saying Hikaru's the hot one or Kaoru's the cute one and the one that say's hell yeah! is the twin your lookin for! Example:
Twins: Which one of us is Hikaru?
Me: The hot one!
Hikaru: Hell yeah
Kaoru: The hell....
