Granny Peace Brigade Teach-in: Abolish Nuclear Weapons and Bases

Frida Berrigan, Horace Campbell, Judith LeBlanc principal speakers, with Vinne Burrows MC'ing, in a lively public forum at the Riverside Church, with particular focus on US bases in Africa and Diego Garcia and urging citizen action, particularly attending the Riverside April 30 -May 1 anti-nuke event in anticipation of UN NPT conference days later. Pilger's wonderful film, Stealing a Nation, about the island of Diego Garcia swiped for using as a giant secret US air base in the South Pacific was also presented in shortened form ---25 minutes--- as part of the program.
