Such wonderful work. I still remember the joy with which I would watch this series as a child. Thanks!

I grew up with Cosgrove hall's the wind in the willows. It was always Toad (along with the chief weasel) who stole the show for me. I remember me and my dad imitating the voices of the characters, And toad's was always our favorite one to do.
Heres to David Jason who did the voice of that vain, young, glorious creacher. And to you Stuart for having a hand in this wonderful series. Albeit, i didn't see ''happy birthday'' till resently.

Hi Stuart, thanks for uploading this wonderful scene. I recognised it instantly and know it's from the 'Happy Birthday' episode. 'The Wind in the Willows' is my favourite animated series of all time, and made me want to work for Cosgrove Hall. I was fortunate enough to work there as a stop-motion animator for five years between 2003 and 2008, and it was Franc Vose who employed me.

@animatorhaynes Hi Richard,Its surprising our paths have never crossed! I think i must have helped build most of the puppets youve animated whilst you were at Cossie Hall!
