  • what are the blue, yellow and green wires for on the top of the board?nicely converted back btw.

  • Interesting. Could you upgrade the video output to s-video or RGB scart while you were in there? Or is composite yellow plug the best you can get for a MegaDrive?

  • Really informative video, Damo. I was just wondering what the ceramic cap is for that was sitting above the point where you soldered the factory clock back up. Doesn't look like it was there from the factory.

  • i only just realised that the 'jap' MD i bought off ebay was actually a PAL asian one, with mod switch to make it 60, so yea.. they basically did somethin like this i think.. lol

  • Great repair Damo, nice to see another MD come back to life. = )

  • Huh?! How come I am lately not getting any of your videos in my sub-box? Damn. I completely missed this one. >.>

Anyway, a very slick video once again, bro. I like how you do things I've always wanted to do, too. Retro consoles are now a thing of the past for me, though. Got other things to waste my money on, lol.

    Keep it cool, mate!

  • really interesting and informed vid mate.. youve done it again! :)
