Watch this the other day on Virgin Media the whole series. I was too young when it came out first time but worth it. Superb and to think people are getting excited about tv shows from Denmark people forget we led the way when it came to TV Thrillers when they get it right the BBC are the best,

Sorry! Don't like this version, the piano and arrangement jar with me. I think this was done for commercial reasons when it was released as a single. Having said that it was a classic TV series and Clapton's guitar gave it something special.

I watched the series when it first came out in 85. I think it is the finest piece of television ever done. The music was in perfect harmony with the pathos of the subject and brought tears when I first heard it.
