    You do get the joke (or lack thereof, in your apparent opinion) though, right? Queer has grown to become a synonym of homosexual in the US, so the man gets upset over seeing Bar-B-*Queer* next to his face, partly due to the fact he's from the state of Texas, where gays aren't as widely tolerated. It's funny when you understand the concepts behind it.
