Ganesh Mantra - Obstacle Breaker (108 Repetitions) STROBE

"Om Salutations and Prostrations to Lord Ganesha"

"This mantra invokes the Lord Ganesha to remove every impediment in your life and in your works. By constant meditation on this mantra, all obstacles and blocked energy in your physical and astral bodies are released.
He brings writing and knowledge. But he is most often known as the "Breaker of Obstacles". This does not mean that if something blocks your way to success that appealing to Ganesh will result in your thundering through your opposition like some great juggernaut (a word derived from the name of a Hindu deity Jaganath). Rather, Ganesh breaks obstacles by working around them. He may not help you fix a relationship, but He might help you find a new one. He might not get you a raise at work, but you might get a job offer from another company for more money. Ganesh is a warrior, but is not into fighting for fighting's sake. Indeed, that is why he lost his head and it had to be replaced with the head of a elephant. Rather, He helps you find other ways of overcoming obstacles. The real obstacles He breaks are those which prevent you from recognizing alternative solutions."

"Ganesha mantras are siddhi mantras . Each mantra contains certain specific powers of Lord Ganesha. When chanted with the proper pranayama (rhythmic breathing) and sincere devotion, they will yield good results. In general, Ganesha mantras will ward off all evil and bless the devotee with abundance, prudence and success. Evil spirits dare not enter the home or the mind of the devotee where Ganesha mantras are recited.

...

"One more point to remember is that one should bathe or wash the limbs before sitting for repetition of the mantra. Also, one should do three or more pranayama before beginning the mantra. The minimum repetition of the mantra should be one full mala, or 108 times. When this is done at a fixed hour and place regularly for 48 days, it becomes an upasana, which means intense meditation, that will yield siddhis, or spiritual powers. Another warning to bear in mind is that one should use those powers only for healing the sick and other such selfless actions for the benefit of mankind. These powers should not be misused. Misuse of power may bring the curse of the asuras.

"This is a mantra from Ganapati Upanishad. One may always use it before beginning a journey, a new course in school, new career or job, or before entering into any new contract or business so that impediments are removed and your endeavor may be crowned with success."

  • For all you non believers, I am a 18 year old white guy from texas that has never studied hinduism in my life. I set a small ganesh statue in front of me on my bed, and chanted this several times. after about 10 minutes of chanting my whole body started to vibrate, I closed my eyes and saw all purple with the outline of Ganesh floating in front of me for about 5 minutes. Do not doubt the existance of Lord Ganesha

  • I have been meditating on this mantra for over a year and have truely been blessed in more ways then I've ever been blessed before. Thank You for this mantra, I have made Ganesh a part of my everyday life.

  • @Chilenita2009 hey listen sorry to get back to so late... but prayers and mediation are done for one's spritual enhancement... there are loads of other ways you can approach Lord Ganesh.... even via reading ur Bible and doing the prayers your own way... Just remember Allah, Lord Ganesh and etc are just another name and another form of the Holy Trinity! I hope I helped! x

  • Om Namo Narayana

  • @CentralConceptMusic : i think its an angel ,not a god, godd is source of positive energy and invisible, ganesha probably is an angel or a alien from other planets, but becaz in thousand years ago, people were not able to understand it, they were calling them god

  • why is everyone talking and focusing on drawing a picture? I thought it was the Mantra here that was supposed to be the focus ...is the mantra working for anyone? Please give examples...

  • @panic0in0paradise os you men is okay for me to draw a ganesh picture and cause i do not have any tools neither posters like that. i do not want to worship the picture and nothing like that but just in the picture just imagine that is ganesh, and pray with devotion and love.... to lord ganesh... thanks...

  • @Chilenita2009

All paths are the same ~ I honestly do have a Rosary next to me ATM, and if I may suggest to maybe - imagine many soft beads floating freely through out a glowing blue stream of light/with every thoughtful inventive sweet breath/feel the beads you have imagined - glow even brighter, begin to warm up as the BlueLight expands into a powdery mist of baby blues and textural soft White Light -

  • @Chilenita2009

... allow the warmth to cool your thoughts - imagine further these beads you have created move further along gliding and caressing any changes in direction - until you notice their arrival in their destination - which is your heart smiling!

  • @Chilenita2009

ravenoptima point is advice is right on, sometimes I will only have an orange and green 3''x5'' index card placed with a sketch of Lord Ganesha - I will also keep a plate out of fresh-fruit in thought and offer to Ganesha - using a Mala, String of Beads, or a Length of Rope with knots tied in it 'works" - to keep focus is needed while meditating, but to invite Ganesha into your Heart is to keep him there -, this can be repeated day and night, in your mind, anywhere, all the time

  • @ravenoptima you mean i can draw a picture of ganesh and pray to it ? let me know.... , cause a month ago i did draw a image of ganesh but i thought it won't work. cause i thought i needed aposter or something else..... put thanks to you.... i can try it again...and please pray for me... thanks

  • @Chilenita2009

Do the best you can, and use inexpensive versions of the tools, if you feel you need them. Draw a picture and color it if you need an image........Ganesh is not going to hold poverty against you, he is there to OPEN the path to a better life. He does not live by the limits of our beliefs, he lives by celestial laws...let yourself be expansive and creative about Ganesh......He is a big Sweetheart!!!!! No tears! ; ))
