This old song combines a slow melody with a bouncy accompaniment, based on the arrangement crafted by the late slack key master, Leonard Kwan.

I'm afraid the music takes a back seat in this video, with two tiny twins in pink getting the starring role.

This was shot at Aloha Friday in Downtown Pleasant Hill on August 21, 2009. Front shot is a Panasonic Lumix ZS3 zoomed across the courtyard, while the side shot comes from a Sanyo Xacti HD2000. I hit the audio in on the Xacti too hard, so the audio mix is primarily the camera sound from the Lumix with a little of the Xacti direct input added. I transcoded the AVCHD from the Lumix using FFMPEG, and edited in Adobe PE7.

  • I haven't heard a lot of Maori Music, but the ones I remember had an extremely plesasant sound to them and were refreshing to listen to.

  • @Lteuling I was also thrilled with the little bit of Maori music I've heard, but this song was written by a Hawaiian man, or at least that's my understanding. The story I've heard is that he was working in New Zealand when he wrote the song.
