Does the Paul II have a 60's style slim-taper neck, or more of a fatter, 50's style rounded neck profile?
-
Nice. A friend of mine had one in that color but it got stolen. Bummer
-
I have one of these in the same colour. The knobs are original, pickguard is not. I spruced mine up with some chrome pickup rings.
-
I can confirm that the control knobs are indeed original. The pick guard is not, however.
-
how much is this guitar?
-
I've got a black one that I got new in '98. It didn't come with a pick guard, so I'm wondering if the one on yours was added on after-market.

5 stars just for being able to play asturias.

Have you seen, or have you reviewed a Gibson Sonnex? It is a Les Paul/Jr copy made in the late 70's early 80's I think. I traded mine for an early 70's Univox Les Paul, sweet guitar!
Then knobs are genuine for that model. My SG has the same knobs.

@theanalizer
The piece I'm playing is called Asturias by the classical composer Isaac Albeniz, it's originally written for piano--I'm in the process of transcribing my own version for guitar. Other players have transcribed this piece before for guitar, just so you know.
But because it fits so nicely on the guitar, it's become a standard piece in the classical guitar repertoire.
Thanks for the comment,
Josh
