The war on drugs is another huge wast of our money, and directly violates our liberties. These wars KILL people, as in, no coming back. Socialism, is only a small part of how the US governments is destroying the country.

Yes, the war on drugs wastes billions of dollars each year and should be stopped! And I also agree that we should scale back our presence across the globe. The bottom line is that you can't trust government with total control, it is dangerous.

@TheMoravians You need to get your facts right. From 2003 -2010 there have been an estimated 107,000 iraqi civilian deaths. Afghanistan civilians, an estimated 34,000. Compared to the American Civil War, an estimated 620,000 deaths in the span of only 4 years. Maybe you forgot about the 3,000 innocent lives on September 11, 2001?? What about them?

@skafiaman The combination of de-industrialization, fiat currency (no gold or silver backing) and long term debt leaves our country with no economic base. Ultimately its no different than a person with no job, no savings and a massive credit card debt; eventually the bank will cut you off, then you'll starve. America's top creditors have industrial jobs, resources & savings - China, Japan & Middle East Oil countries - and don't need the US for anything & can cut us off soon.

Easily a million people killed in Iraq alone, even harder to estimate the death toll in Afghanistan/Pakistan, especially the bystanders in the predator drone strikes, which will continue to escalate as Obama has chosen to ramp up that war. Iran now has a UN imposed embargo. Economic sanctions killed 250,000 infants in Iraq, 1990-2003, out of a smaller population than Iran.

How many are killed elsewhere, to fight "terror"?
