This is a music video about Eowyn from Lord of the Rings having tough times in her life and 'standing' through them. It's my first vid, so i'd appreciate any hints you more experienced music video makers could offer to help me get better. And like anyone else i also appreciate positive feedback ;)

Amazing! Though, my only complaint is that the focus was kind of lost around the middle, with the lack of Eowyn, but other than that, this was awesome!

Hey, this is crazy, but my first video- I thought of making one for Eowyn to Stand in the Rain. I wanted to do it bad enough to figure out how!! but it's just a slideshow, cuz I don't know how to use movie clips.. yet. :) I just thought it was awesome we had the same idea for our first video!!

Quite aside from that, I think your vid is awesome! I am still extremely new at this, but I love this one! :) Joy

btw, I think what I need is a DVD ripper to get clips from movies - right? Is there any one you know of that I can download that is safe? Thank you so much!

yep, you will need a DVD ripper to get clips off your DVD. I downloaded a program called iSofter DVD Ripper Platinum (or something like that) that cost about $40. I would get it from the official site though, instead of some other download site. anyway, that program has worked great for me so far and I really like it. :)

@legolasprincess Are you kidding? I loved that you threw Merry and Pippin in there! She loved those two (Merry more so, but still), and the battle at Helms Deep was a crucial experience for her even if you don't see that much of her at that point.

I say it's close to perfect, and I would never have guessed it was your first.
