I have just recently joined a GSA at my school along with my very close friend. Her father says he will not allow her to join and now she must do it behind his back. As well, another of my friends had stated she thinks gay people have "a disease of the mind", that friend had lost most of my respect right when she said that.
Homophobes are ridiculous and unrighteous. GSAs fight to stop the wrongful judgment and I believe there should be one in every school.
