This will suit pretty much all the new type of DVD units that you cant bypass by simply grounding the handbrake wire...

What this does is exactly the same as an amp or power antenna remote wire. It sends power to the relay slightly after the unit powers up. There for letting you still watch dvds when the handbrake is not engaged.

  • or just feed at positive 12v into the signal.... saves time and money

  • @gunghoman414

cant do that with this perticular unit. You need a delayed voltage..... thus the relay.

  • What type of connectors are you using to plug into the pins on the relay? I'm going to do this bypass and I need to know what the connectors are called when I go to the store.

  • @Mustangkid29 any connectors, it doesnt matter what you use.

  • but what if im using my blue remote wire to go to my rear amplifiers can i still splice in a wire to do that?

  • @Beautifulchaosx0 of course.
