This was a #1 hit Guy Lombardo for two weeks in 1941 (out of a 14 week chart run). The vocal is by Kenny Gardner and the Lombardo Trio.

My parents spent their honeymoon in New York, I can't recall the hotel, but Goy Lomabardo's Orchestra was there, so needless to say he was always one of their favorites! Many thanks for the posting, very nostalgic and heartwarming!

When I was 3 years old, I would go to the Ground Round with my Grandmother. I would sit on the table and sing this to her friends. It was a very happy memory.
