@smurfboywv Dude, as a queer Wiccan, I feel obliged to correct you. Slavery has existed in damn near every human society in history. Christians did not start it. Also, most Christians aren't nearly as nasty as the disgusting bigots you hear about in the Republican Party.

@smurfboywv It was also Christians like the Quakers who were the first to OPPOSE it. Also, Christians DIDN'T start the whole "Slavery" thing. There were slaves in Greek times, BEFORE their was Christianity, and the USA's slavery was around before religion entered the picture. Also, a great deal of what Christian's believe comes from Jewish culture and laws, are you going to insult the Jews for their "old-fashioned" beliefs? And you don't need to be religious to bash gays, just dumb.

@ngrey651 Christians started the whole slavery thing, as well as not letting women talk in church, and now they twist the bible to justify their right to condemn us gays, they have done this crap for years and years. Christianity is a horrible cult and it needs to be stopped. Jesus would never say or do any of the things that modern day fundamentalist christians pigs are doing.

No offense, but it's insulting to Christians to just assume we're all like Maggie Gallagher. There's PLENTY of examples of normal man and woman marriages in the Bible. You just pulled out sensational examples to make your own point against a straw woman.
