The first still photos for the highly anticipated The Hunger Games movie have been officially released by Lionsgate. In them you can see Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth playing their characters: Katniss Everdeen, Peeta Mellark and Gale Hawthorne respectively. Also announced was the release date of the second The Hunger Games movie: Catching Fire, also based on the book by Suzanne Collins. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will come out on November 22, 2013.

The reason people seem to be making teams is cuz both of them are pretty much fighting over Katniss -_- I dont plan on turning it into a twilight thing cuz i effin hate twilight, but this is VERY different. Peeta deserves Katniss, and Katniss needs Peeta. End of discussion.

Why the heck is every one comparing twilight to the hunger games it just doesnt make sense to the ppl tht love this movie series!!! So I read all the books of the hunger games and twilight. They do SOUND the same but they arent the same K+P=♥ and B+E=♥is ok but the hunger gamees is way better than the twilight saga!! I mean I♥ both series but fer me they're way difffernt!!!. @xxxlinatjuhxxx sorry i actually just now finished the second book. i was speaking from the view of people who have only read the first book. take for example twilight. everyone who hadnt read the books loved edward after the movie then read all the books and half loved jacob and half loved edward right? but i love gale now but i still go for peeta. but he is a main character i was just making the connection that its the hunger games movie not catching fire :) but thank for filling me in on #3
