Piff the Magic Dragon announced his arrival by reaching the final of Hackney Empire New Act of the Year 2009. He has since gone on to become a staple of the UK cabaret scene, appearing in La Soiree (formerly La Clique), performing regularly with Medium Rare and been given his own residency, Brunchtime at Piffany's, at Circus in Covent Garden. He has performed at The Comedy Store and supported some of the biggest names in comedy including Simon Amstell, Jessica Hynes and Stephen Merchant.

In 2009 Piff's debut show, Piff-Tacular, scooped Buxton Fringe Festival's Best Comedy award and broke the Edinburgh Free Fringe record for highest box office take in a single night. He returned the following year with PIFF-TACULAR 2: Get Rich or Die Trying at Just the Tonic, awarded 'Top Three Picks of the Fringe' by The One Show, BBC.

Every hero needs a sidekick, and it was during 2009 that Piff acquired Mr Piffles, the World's First Levitating Chihuahua™. Inseparable ever since, little Piffilicious now earns his kibble charming damsels up and down the country and relieving himself on any microphone stands that get in the way.
