i taught myself russian just the same way this guy did. i didn't know untill i looked but at my local libary they have cds there for language learners and i did just as he did when you fall asleep and listen, it helps so much!

Also, "Вы" is a "formal-plural": you can say for example "YOU ALL" on english, otherwise it'll looks like "ВЫ" in Russian Language.

I really appreciate this video, I have just started learning Russian now, in my first year of college. Although I find the language absolutely amazing, I started feeling less enthousiastic once we got into more "serious" grammar. However I will take your advice on this one and try to watch as many films in Russian as possible, I really have good feeling about it. Your video is really inspiring! Balshoe spasiba

@katherine11138 It's always been an ongoing process, and Im still learning. I have come a long way since this video, Russia is like a second home to me now that I have spent so much time there. Im so glad I can speak it.

No, After learning on my own, I studied Russian at Moscow State University. That and spending time in Russia with my commitment and passion for the language. Has braught me to a level of fluidity Im very happy with. Now to build on that and keep learning to hit and surpass new plateaus is the idea, learn and start again.
