who knew that spy kids would actually do something good? danny trejos character in machete is the same machete from the spy kids movies, they always joked about giving him his own movie about machete then they finally did last year!

@DozerfleetProd I don't think Rodriguez was planning on making Machete (the movie) when he made Spy Kids. or maybe he was, but he never got around to it and decided to test the character out. Anyway, Spy Kids and Machete are set in the same universe, which makes things interesting. I wonder that will be referenced in "Machete Kills" or in "Spy Kids 4"... I would be pretty cool to see Machete use some Spy Kids tech in one of his movies.
