Chapter Three: The Killer and the Thief

"No!"

The pressure shattered her skull and Kin stared as the body dropped, feeling no regret as she kicked the corpse onto it's back. She'd been precise: only breaking it wher the shards would cut and kill the brain, but managing to keep the structure of her face. She was pretty, that was very obvious, but deadly familiar.

The hair was what had done it: no one but the Takuyas had those odd colors. Her hair was bright, neon pink. Kin leaned down and picked up a card.

Trina Takuya.

'Of course. Misery's cousin. Both the stupid bitches got what they deserved.' She turned away from the body and started walking, remembering the details of killing Chastity's former lover. Misery had fought; and Kin had almost lost it, but her control only wavered, didn't break. She'd killed her precisely too: applying pressure to completley snap her two jugulars.

While they were still inside her body.

Kin smirked. Takawashi Hiro... She'd made a very weak jab at him when she surprised Chastity, not realizing just how important he was.

'Well, Hiro, now you get the spotlight: your my next target.'

She felt no regret as she walked away, her powers flexing, awaiting new blood to be spilled.

Ravyn woke up. Chastity's body... She was Chastity. The real Chastity.

'Ravyn was just what they called me when they locked me up. But I am Chastity Aizawa, the real Chastity Aizawa.' She flexed and pushed the other Chastity away, taking over control of their body. 'My turn.'

Her 'twin' didn't protest, just faded into the shadows of their mind. Such a good, submissive little girl: she was never any trouble, except when it came to that idiot Takawashi.

'Well, are you happy about yourself, now you've found someone to like. Oh wait, you've found too someone's.' Chastity prodded the good side, but got no response and shrugged, walking to the river and washing off her face, looking into the water.

The eyes. That's what made her the real Chastity.

They were golden, not that disgusting sea-green, and so resembled a cat's. The mark... As if on cue, the prong-like mark appeared underneath her left eye, standing out against her pale, grey-tinged skin.

Chastity smiled and stood up. 'Wake up already. What's the fun being two people in one if you don't have a buddy to talk to?'

'Leave me alone. I'm not talking to you if your going to fantasize about the Taki.'

Chastity blinked. Taki Fuyu... She didn't even know him, but it felt like she did. She shrugged. 'You fantasize.'

'That's different! They aren't psycho and evil and-'

'Shut it.' Chastity took off, running from the woods and down the cliffs, heading for her cabin. She breezed in, the door closing soundlessly behind her, and crossed the small room to her desk, going through her documents. 'Where...'

She pulled out the picture.

Proof that the two of them weren't simply born like this: two baby girls stared at the camera.The one on the left was healthy: her skin was cream and roses, fluffy light hair surrounding her tiny head in a halo, her sea-green eyes full of life and sparkling.

The other was not.

The other girl was grey, her eyes yellow, the fever raking her tiny body. Killing her.

'It did kill me.'

'But I didn't die. I shared a body with my sister.'

Chastity ripped the photo in half and crumpled up the left side, throwing it away. She looked back at the sick baby and touched the glossy coating lightly, caressingly. 'I want my own body back. I want to be one person again.'

'Then steal someone else's.' Chi grumbled from deep inside, her pressence stroking the other Chastity's lovingly. It made her sick, thinking of the angel touching her body's true owner. But she had to live with it.

Chastity blinked, though, taking in the suggestion. Steal another body...

She smirked and set out on her quest.
