@BruinsCupChampions It wouldn't be a huge change and I think a definite improvement. The 9900 will offer the best protection.

Would a change from my Nike Bauer 5500 to a 9900 be a big change? Is the fitting different? Which helmet has the best protection?

This is the best helmet I have ever owned. I upgraded from an Easton and never go back. Obviously with fitting hockey equipment its all a matter of personal preference; however if you enjoy Bauer Helmets or you are in the market for a top notch helmet, This one is the way to go.

@potatoclock39 The Re Akt has a new foam liner and new adjustment features along with the suspend-tech liner.

i have a 9900 and it really hurts my head. Do you know if the RE-AKT helmet will be a wider fit?
