Hotpoint presents "Sauce for the Gander" early 1940's
staring Damien O'Flyn, Joan Woodbury and a
very young Alan Ladd un-credited appearance,
This movie was made by the Hotpoint appliance company
to promote there fridges and stoves. this movie most likely
is Alan Ladd's earliest screen appearance

Laddie was sooo cute - I wish that I could see his other commercial short films. I think he did Blame it on Love, Unfinished Rainbows, American Portrait and Meat and Romance. I've not been able to get hold of any of them sadly!

Alan Ladd is always great, even when the movie is pretty dopey. lol
I wonder why he didn't get a credit, he had more than a couple of lines.
Thank you so much for posting this clip.
