Yingshiong recalls outside the flight room

Yingshiong flies from the hook of his bamboo cage over, and back again. He recalls twice, and nearly gets onto the shoulder.

In a perfect world birds would be free to fly in the rainforest (or wherever they came from originally), but unfortunately we don't live in a perfect world. We live in a society where we have animal companions that wouldn't survive in the wild. It is our job to do the absolute best job we can to take care of them and give them what they need while still keeping them safe.

Shanlung does an amazing job working with flighted recall so that his birds can remain flighted and even be taken outside.

i guess i wasnt looking at it like that,yes they should be free,but if someone was to put a bird in a cage,as long as they look good,taking care of, and are gettin what they need then,i guess thats,as good as we can wish for,huh,inless u want to plan i brake out for all of `em,wanna...lol

How can you can "keeping a bird in a cage" "loving them"? As good as you are to a bird, it was born to FLY. Im a pilot, and I know how good that is. To do it without a machine is a blessing, which is denied a bird in a cage...
