Angelina Jolie may reconnect with her dad

Actress Angelina Jolie may reconnect with her estranged father, Jon Voight. She told a British newspaper she hopes their relationship can become more private and is open to talking with him again at some point. The two have apparently rarely spoken since 2002 when Voight told "Access Hollywood" Jolie was unstable.

"Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer" smashed U.S. box offices over the weekend. The comic book based thriller is at number one after bringing in more than 57 million dollars in ticket sales in its first weekend out. "Oceans 13" fell form its spot at the top last week to number two. "Knocked Up" is in third place. That's all according to box office mojo.

TV Host Bob Barker is ending his career with a bang. He grabbed the daytime Emmy for best Game Show host over the weekend. His show, "The Price is Right" also won Outstanding Game Show. Barker took the win just as he wrapped up hosting the program after 35 years. Other Emmy winners include Ellen DeGeneres who took a statue for Outstanding Talk Show Host. Her program also won Outstanding talk show for the fourth consecutive year.

Singer Rod Stewart has tied the knot. He reportedly married model Penny Lancaster in Italy on Saturday. They were joined by about 100 friends and family members at a ceremony in the small town of Santa Margherita. The lavish reception included? dinner, dancing and fireworks. Stewart and Lancaster have been dating for seven years. This is the singer's third marriage.

Former "Sporty Spice" Melanie Chisolm says a Spice Girls reunion may be a possibility. The singer told a British radio station that rumors of a reunion concert have some truth in them. But she does say it would be for a very short time and just as a thank you to fans. Chisolm was originally opposed to the idea because she says it's hard to re-create the magic. There's talk that the Spice Girls have plans for six shows around the world...including concerts in London and Tokyo.
