I have the same issue with the 4040CN "Print Unable 32" message on the LED. I fixed this problem for short periods (about 20 - 40 pages worth of additional printing) by basically disassembling the printer (drum, cartridge tray, belt unit, etc), carefully cleaning everything and re-assembling it. After about 3 times, that no longer works. I have printed only 2500 pages. IMO, this is a terrible printer and the print quality out of the box was mediocre. I'll never buy another Brother product.

Do any body know how to fix HL 4040CN print unable 32. The message keeps poping on the LCD screen on the printer. I try seeing inside for any paper stuck, but the message in red keeps poping, any idea how to fix it. Thank u.

I bought this printer because it stated it could print up to 32,000 sheets a month. I printed 8,000 in 2 weeks and it no longer works properly. I want to return! It does not print 100lb glossy and was under $300
