To get started, take a look at these delicious Paleo Diet recipes: http://bit.ly/gsy0qZ. I was able to successfully stay on the Paleo Diet long term with this amazing cookbook.
@KorionDotNet : Its funny how its mostly Westerners that have "bad genes". Its also odd that when Asians move to North America and consume our diet they develop a case of "bad genes". But if they return to their country and diet of origin they suddenly lose these "bad genes". ;o) Yes, starch and complex carbs aren't as harmful as sugar. That's a no-brainer. So you actually believe there are no toxins in the Chinese food system? ;o)
@auggiedoggy First of all, people are mostly fat because they have "bad genes". Those chinese weren't fat to begin with. They don't stuff themselves with toxins and fuck up their system.
Second, starch is not as harmful as refined sugar.
Third, asians eat a lot of seafood and algae. Packed with protein. They don't eat brown rice so they don't get a lot of phytates. Their gut remains healthy because white rice doesn't do damage like coca cola.
@auggiedoggy Stupid comment at best. I cut carbs down to around 20-30g per day. Lost 30lbs in 2 months in the absence of exercise. How do you explain that one smart guy?
@drgdrf Yeah Japanese also eat a lot of McDonalds, drink lots of Coke/alcohol, rice, ramen, and lots of breaded foods which are not good for you because of the high amount of carbs. Asian diets suck for westerners.
@auggiedoggy I think you are a bit confused. Yes they are much different, Asians have been on high carb diets for thousands of years. Caucasians, Native Americans, Blacks etc. have not. Interesting how Caucasians, Native Americans, and Blacks get fat off of carbs? Not to mention Asians in their nation move around a lot more. When I lived in Japan I met people who didn't even have cars. Its walking/bus/train everyday.
Where is part 2?
