@tferrell100 True. I think that secretly the current F1 drivers miss it too. Those old drivers had to really master the machines. No electronics, no computers or automation. Just the car and driver. Make no mistake, those great old race drivers used to have balls of steel. Massive horsepower (and they were fast!) skinny tyres, running on alchohol. No crash barriers, little or no safety equipment.. Give yourself a treat and track down BRM V16 sound. Awesome, sends shivers up your back

@SynysterToken Oh, are you serious?? I used to plan my Saturdays around Speedvision! I was a car-crazy teen during the 1960s, and spent all my money following the GP when I could, F-1 or Sports/GT. Speedvision took me back to those glorious days after all my heroes had died off, one by one. I still remember where I was when I learned of G/Hill's and J/Clark's deaths. If I close my eyes real tight, I can still hear and smell those cars again. I used to LIVE for Speedvision! BRING IT BACK!

Beautiful. those were the golden days of F1 for sure. Love Moss, Spa circuit, the cars (I mean hell they were so attractive) LOVE the glory days.

sound of that engines is SOMETHING!

Miss the days of racing when it was an engine, four tires and the drivers determined the outcome.

I still have an original Speedvision T-shirt and hat. I do, like you long for the old Speedvision days. 1989 Hyrdroplane highlights followed by the 1955 LeMans footage , followed by a checkride in a P-51D,,,,great stuff

Is that David Hobbs.
(that's a joke, son).
other than me, who misses these days of Speedvision?

We had the pleasure of knowing Lucetta Musso, his daughter. She spoke often about her father & missed him dearly. Lucetta passed away yesterday 28th October 2007. A beautiful person & very special friend, she will be missed by many. She would be pleased to know race fans still remember her father.
Our Love to Lucy wherever you are.
