Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley goes off on a rant against certain city council members who are not voting the way he wants them to. The vote is a for real estate tax increase to fund Chicago's chronically underfunded CTA Mass Transit System (the El). But who cares what it's for - this is some good TV. Democracy at work with Da Mayor! Note the laughing in the background.

The scum of Chicago (which is a lot of people) loves to blame Daley for all their personal problems. Then you have the flight simulator fan boys and the few pilots who just call him a shit bag because of what he did to Meigs. They don't look into issues any deeper then what they feel is important to themselves. But oh well thats how things in this country work. People somehow believe that one persons decision will have a good result for everyone, and when it doesnt, they feel they can b mad.

Litlle munchkin kept all of the citys revenue downtown for Navy Pier, The Bean, etc... While the neighborhoods didn't get much revenue for their districts in improving roads, and law inforcement. A mayor should never be allowed to completely control the city's budget. Like father like son.
