This animation was the result of a residency at Abbey Hill School and Technology College, Stockton on Tees called Project Four in 2002/03.

Three artists and the school's Art Teacher Kevin Bailey worked with year 10 and 11 students to make the Science and Arts animation.

The first stage of the animation was to create a poem; this was done with guidance by poem and writer Dougy Pincott who managed to tease from the students the poem, insect chat.

Andrew Liddell was the animator who came into school and introduced students to a simple animation technique, using paper cut outs and a digital camera. Actor Leslie Simpson managed to animate the students to produce the narrative for the piece.

The project was co-ordinated by Tees Valley Arts. Further information from www.teesvalleyarts.org.uk
