  • any chance you could send me some pics of your manifold?

  • @bradbiker i have the two inlet pipes i had made up on the shelf guess i could sell them but you still need the standard metro turbo inlet and exhaust manifold to fit these as ive now gone supercharger

  • Where abouts can I find one of these turbo kits?

    Cheers

    Gav

  • @GavinG1044 i got the local exhaust makers to fabricate the pipe work for me i rebuilt the turbo using carbon seals so that it would stand the fuel going through it as for the needle and spring for the carb and decompression plate i got them from jonspeed the manifold and turbo were just standard parts turned up side down which you will find on ebay you will also need an electric fuel pump as the oil return goes where the mechanical fuel pump is. hope that helps

  • Hi, do you have the wastegate (presure regulator) run from the turbo back to the air intake? Cool. Please let me know, I am building one myself...

  • @quebestiadecarro if you look at the video you can just see the blue tube running to the actuator under the carb feed pipe :-)

see all

  • @quebestiadecarro hi there the standard metro turbo regulator is at the back of the turbo near the bottom it was a tight fit had to make a bracket to get it to fit , if you can use a t2 turbo it smaller and boost up quicker which will give you more room for the exhaust as well . and when you do your oil return make it out of steel tubing down the block as the exhaust runs past it ,plus if you get top engine steady bars that adjust you can set the engine slightly more forward ,

  • How do you control the psi of the turbo without the pressure regulator, how many exaust pipes are you using to run the turbo? Greeting and nice setup!!!

  • @tpvalley its ok makes me smile but when it needs changing i will use a t2 turbo instead for faster spool up
