I just wanted to add that on June 22nd the Operation Blackjack fervor was going down as well as the Ardent Sentry drills and Michael Jackson's death (The Weapon of Mass Distraction) took over headlines. I've read that the vatican had a hand in supressing the Ark's revealing. I lack citations at the moment, but I believe abovetopsecret has a thread or two on the subject if you search the forums.

In more info- The Leader of the Ethiopan Church backed off on his announcement. No other info is forthcoming. Rumor has it that he is planning a later unveiling with Rome, but I am not sure. We are being confronted with many strange archaeological finds, it is all planned.

Phnixlady, do you find it odd that the supposed Arc of the Covenant is in Ethiopia which is the oldest known civilization known to man? Do you think it is kinda strange that in this same land that there are oblisks? Did you know the tallest one was 33.3 meters? I found this information out at sacredsites a webpage. Very interesting site. Thanks for the info!
