We talk with Alex Rose from Minus The Bear, who takes a break from boxing with his reflection to show us the Line 6 M13 he's now using. The release of the M13 allowed Alex to cut down on patch cables.

Alex talks about how the M13 is beneficial to Minus The Bear's sound -- some high praise given the fact that Minus The Bear utilizes a ton of interesting and complex guitar tones.

  • Im trying to figure out why he has a tuner pedal...

  • The value of all the pedals in this board:

    FM4 250

    MM4 250

    DL4 250

    DM4 250

    Verbzilla 110

$1,110 not to mention the mess, plus price of connection(power supplies, connector cables)

    Vs

$500 for the m13 which is compact, has a few of the effects fixed, and only one power supply.

I'd say this is a fucking steal.

  • that song on the intro remind me mortal kombat II :)

  • @unearth91 cos you have no idea?

  • @unearth91 True bypass.

  • the only reason I would even get a tuner pedal is for an easy way to but out in between songs

  • He's really high.

  • @unearth91 a lot of people dislike the m13 tuner. it kind of dances around. not unusuable but if you've got the money there are better tuners.

  • @tylerbrainerd Ah, I see. Thanks!

  • @unearth91 to mute his channel so he can record loops silently.

  • I saw the vid of the guy doing that, it was SICK. I'm DEFINITELY getting one of these next month. I wish I would have been hip to this thing earlier. I'm glad I didn't get all the pedals I needed yet because that would've cost more after cables, power sources, and a pedal board and would've been less tweakable and intuitive.

  • its not that big actually, plus each portion is raised (like stairs) so it makes foot switching more ergonomic.
