Not only were the Dems pro slavery and anti black rights (just remember Lincoln was a Rep and Jim Crow was a Dem, research them too), also America was sent to WW1 and WW2 by the Dems. And the Dems in the 90's new that Sadam had wmd. So much for Rep being war mongers ah??? FYI both parties came from the Rep-Dem party. Wiki explains the start of one of them this way "In the 1850s, under the stress of the Fugitive Slave Law and the Kansas–Nebraska Act, anti-slavery Democrats left the party. Joining with former members of existing or dwindling parties, the Republican Party emerged"
