Mike has mined on Gold company's land for the last 4-5 years with an excavator and washplant. Part 1 is digging and loading and part 2 is operation and a 5 oz. clean-up.
what gets me is they spend all that time and effort to dig and dredge, sluce, shovel, pick and sweat. TEll me why do they bend over all day and bend at what ever they do? Can`t they just make the equipment higher so they can stand up strait? Is this not the age of communication? It is like putting the computer on the floor. Duh???
Mike. I think you need to do a little work on that machine. for instance the sluice box on top where all the big rockes are tumbling, each time a boulder jumps it bumpes gold farther down your box and eventually into your tailings and second the "RUSHING SLUICE BOX" needs 2large rubber matts hovering over the water to calm down the turbulance. thats were gold can dislodge and run off the sluice into your tailings because of the "RAPID EFFECT".
Ivan a small miner in australia here, instead of the sluice box try putting your tailings through a tray of small bubble wrap plastic, it catches really fine gold as the gold falls in between the bubbles and pushes into it leaving the silt and sand to go over the top and out. it is so easy to clean out to. just tilt the tray and hose the contents of the tray into a pan
thats a nice looking paystreak with good recovery for a single sluice 2 deck screen plant. Good job guys. Looks like good return for a washplant/pump, a tired old dump truck and tired looking old Cat 215LC and Kobelco K904 excavators
you are crazy

Thanks for sharing! The 5oz recovery, is that in one day?? What are operating costs on an operation like that? Always wanted to visit Nome.
