  • I live in a place full of retards. It's art , it's a form of expression and right next to it is an oversized ugly, well ugly in my book, Catholic church. I miss the statue, it made me think that just maybe we all get a voice our spiritual views.

  • @nmg70nmg If the welcome station hadn't been zoned as a "caretakers residence"...if the welcome was a non-profit church...if the MAGO people hadn't misled the building commission too many times, it would have been considered for its spiritual meaning. Since MAGO in Cottonwood is a for profit business, fairness had to treat MAGO folks the same as all of the other for-profit businesses in Cottonwood. You are right. It was retarded for MAGO to lie and con through the whole affair. Honesty is smart.

  • nut case at 7:13-7:40

Keep it a legal thing or read the bible matt. 7:12 and see how you just justified pulling down Christan symbols ( crosses and marked graves come to mind ).

still the guy after ( 7:40 - 8:15 ) make some sens... well you can see that there have been cuts in his speech...

The only thing that matter is 8:23 - 9:43

Happy it is not a religious matter as i first believed. I do not want to bee ashamed to call my self a Christian.

  • @KiLLeR1RaBBiT Yes. I would have liked to put more of his comment on but hit the 10 min limit. I was relieved, too, that it wasn't about religion at all.

  • Mago is a religious symbol raised by a religious organization that worships Ilchi as reincarnated deity dahn-gun. Ilchi have been featured in almost all American media as a cult including CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, Forbes, Glamour, NY Post, etc. Ilchi is getting desperate with all the media attention on him. The only place to hide is under religious cover just as he did in Korea. He broke the zoning laws, and he will play crazy Christian card just as he is did in Korea. This is a hideous cult.

  • This is interesting. You would be fun to interview about this. Are you, or were you a Dahn follower?

  • At 7:13 I can't stand crazy religious people!

  • @barcher how long have you stay in dahn ? can you tell me?

  • I got sucked in. They screwed me out of $2500. They wanted $10,000 more. Thank God I got out.

  • LOL offensive to God? Why didn't God speak for himself at the meeting?

  • I for one am glad it is gone. It was a large distraction while driving to Sedona and simply didn't fit in with the scenery of the southwest. If Mago is supposedly representing "Mother Earth" then they could have made the stature more nature-like in appearance. Instead, I at first mistook it for being a giant statue of Jesus, especially since it was next to the church. I couldn't even tell it was a woman until I was right next to it.

  • Every single day this was in the paper, i mean as if there werent other far more important issues facing us today, just think of all the rubbish going on at D.C., if only we could have stood up like this for a better cause. In any case i'm glad that statue's down, it was pretty fishy the whole thing, and the statue was ugly and ruined the beautiful landscape, but still, such fuss over it!
