How is that different than the bankers? One gives money to help you make money. This movie is incredibly relevant today, STILL.

It was based on Reagan and the far-right nuts who cheered all of his destructive policies. The film included Reagan-Bush's Iran/ Contra scandals. But it may as well have been a sneak-peek to George W. Bush, Dan Quayle, Sarah Palin and the tea-psychos. Somehow, this film succeeded in being funny as well as creating a far-right Dylan-like singing candidate. This film should be re-released in these times of apathy and rising tea-nuts.

Tim Robbins said in an interview the songs worked within the context of the film but he wouldn't want this bile coming on the radio while he was driving.
