Excellent. Very well put.
I here this a lot, I don't mind too much as it is only a subset of Christians that are stupid enough to use it. As soon as they do, you know who you are dealing with, sigh and walk away.

1) To be an atheist you do not have to positively affirm the non-existence of god, you simply have to not positively affirm his/her/its existence
2) If the belief that "there is no god" is enough to constitute a religion in itself, then your belief that there is no Easter bunny is also a religion, and in fact everything that you do not believe is a religion and you have an infinite number of religions.

EXACTLY, it is a NONbelief. Atheism is to religion as bald is to hair color. If religion is a multiple choice test then atheism is not filling anything in. It is separate from all religions because it is non-religion, and not faith based, a null hypothesis CAN NOT be based on faith.

We (atheists) do not worship anything, we do not have "holy days" nor do we have rituals. Some atheists are very passionate about being atheist and want to show theists how "dumb" they are... Under Coonkillers definition politics, 4H, boy scouts, car salesmen, etc are all religions.
