a divot is what is taken out the ground after someone hits a ball with a golf club. i understand that they are called divot fixers but we only fix ball markers with divot fixers. we don't sand our ballmarks which is why you can't use the terms interchangeably because you only sand divots. trust me, something tells me we're not on the same level golf wise (unless you were an all-american in college)

You must work at a mini-golf course or a driving range. WRONG WRONG WRONG. There are better/correct videos on youtube on how to do it correctly.

you dont lift....you fold in the sides and pat down. youre way will leave a spot on the green for 6 weeks or more and can lead to infection
