You obviously have a good ear for beats, and obviously you have a nice amount of experience with melodies. Aim for the sky you WILL go big if you have the talent & you stay at it. Good luck.
im not worry about what u play on radio because u have sumthin call a (Program Director ) and they what to play which makes u a puppet. It dosent matter if its on another video what he said was disrespectful and ignorant. as far as a premo beat anyone can do it its if u take the time to learn it, but hey u got ready made program which keeps orinignality out of music. dont confuse pop culture with hiphop u claim u work kev brown but your showing people how to make garbage, get real.
You have a real immature view of how hip-hop culture works, evolves and interacts with people. Hip-hop has many problems, yes. But you acting as though premo beats are going to save us all is ridiculous. That's an entirely different conversation. I'm just teaching the BASICS of a program. Can you understand that? The basics. I used the soulja boy beat because it is BASIC and it was relevant, for better or worst,to the current generation of hip-hop fans.
Also, you attacked me personally by saying I was a puppet, that I made garbage, that my beats are "ready-made." Go ahead and test me-- as a dj, as a producer, as an educator, as a writer. You won't win, plain and simple.
I agree that what soulja boy said is ridiculous. But this video is about teaching the basics of a program and if you can't understand that, I'm done talking with you.
Don't worry about what I play on the radio. Worry about your own contribution to the global hip-hop community. Like I said, I support all hip-hop while giving well-founded criticism and challenging problems (soulja boy's attitude towards slavery being one that I mentioned in a separate video as a matter of fact).
Point and click programming is the best way to learn the basics of a program. You think somebody who has never made a beat before can recreate a Premier track? No, that's absurd.
