I was just cutting down bamboo and i found this perfect piece of bamboo to use for this.
I can just add a handle.
Its nice and hard and can most likely be a great defense.

I winced at the sight of the silica gel bag (0:32) attached under the tsuru!
I think THIS shinai isn't useable for a safe kendo!
Presumably the bamboo is already dried up and has no flexibility at all.
Only good for suburi. ;)
